styrofoam speaker sound notes.

I made this speaker in class from a styrofoam plate. Above you can see the magnet in the center which is wrapped with copper wire and glued to the cardboard.  Prior to gluing the magnet to the cardboard, you want to make a small tube with notebook paper, a little larger than the magnet itself. It will look like a homemade cigarette filter.  The coil of wire around the magnet needs to tail end. You connect one end of each alligator clip (yellow and white chords seen here) to the tails of the wire. the other end of each alligator clip is connected to the two tails of the 1/8" stereo plug(black). The stereo wire has been stripped, so that the wires are exposed.  The more wire coil you use around the magnet, the louder your speaker will sound.
I'll try to upload more step by step photos later.
